They are experienced warriors
Who know where to hit, when to run
They rule over vast stretches of land
And know, how to get the job done

With a never ending supply of hardware & ammo
And of medicines, food & more
They know how to lie low in times of need
And emerge stronger than before

Inbetween they seek soft targets
To keep hurting us,where it hurts the most
We have to stop them on their tracks permanently
Among our priorities this ought to be the utmost

We need to change our stratagies
Or it's going to be a lengthy war
Do we need a lengthy war?
What for???

We need to knock off their financiers & suppliers
To win this war overnight
We can certainly achieve it overnight
If we plan it right

Unity among all nations is a must
So that wholehearted cooperation can flourish
And all nations can one another trust

A smooth transition is required
To be able to unite and cooperate
If one tries to do it overnight

So that peace,tranquillity & happiness lies in our future

We owe it to the Planet that nurtures us
We must oblige, we have obligations
If we all get together and do it
We will find many acceptable solutions
All we need is a healthy and a firm resolve
And we ought to stick to our resolutions

If we are honest in thought & deed

Ignoring reality doesn't help
Only makes the situation worse
Ignoring, while realising the consequences
Is absurd, and maybe because of a curse

Terrorists are becoming more powerful everyday
It's news, that's not at all new
Is it because most nations look the other way
And to handle the problem, there are very few?

They are deadlier & bolder as the days go by
They spread their violence across nations
They are enlarging their arena of war
By hitting soft targets, in everyday situations

Bus-stations, airports, sports-stadiums etc.
Where ordinary people go everyday
Or at places of worship
Where people  go to pray

They are deadlier, when they can't fight back
They try to hurt, where it hurts the most
Civilians & civilized, what the armies protect
They try to hurt the utmost

Many nations are ignoring this reality
They feel they are safe and sound
But their reality is only true
Till the terrorists come around

We have to act now
If we don't, it's a crime
We have to eradicate them now
We are running out of time

It's time to wake up
It's time to realize
Recognising our present
Is only wise

Only then we will be able to
Do what is correct and wise
